ORACLE SESSIONS Weekly Forecast | March 31 – April 6, 2019

Weekly Forecast | March 31 – April 6, 2019
5-Card Draw
This week’s energies are very focused on dedication (and moral obligation) to our inner work and healing (specifically our dark shadows), integrity, preservation, inner healing, consciousness, morals, community (how we show up for others and the world – Mother Gaia – Our Great Pachamama), reaping what we sow, death, rebirth, and new beginnings. This is a week of deep integration, introspection, and understanding your personal responsibility and part in events that have unfolded around you.
This week may feel very energetically heavy for many – but know that it is all treasure. Once we can release and let go into surrender and acceptance – we can then begin to create change. Know that everything is working in your favor – meaning stop the attachments. When Great Spirit says, “No,” understand and TRUST that another “Yes” is right around the corner and will be better than anything you could have come up with or predicted on your own. This is a time of Great Faith.
On Friday, April 5th, the New Moon occurs. The New Moon in Aries marks the beginning of a new cycle. The New Moon in Aries is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Ram. It’s time to take action – try something new and innovative, and go at it with gusto and confidence; be assertive without being abrasive; take charge of our lives; start a brand new project, and discover our own personal courage.
This is a strong cycle under which to re-evaluate our relationship to ourselves. With this potent Aries energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. It’s time to make some solid yet realistic plans, and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our new beginnings, as little or big as they may be, in approximately two weeks’ time after the Full Moon occurs.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and thus a New Moon in Aries is especially ripe with opportunity for new beginnings. We might consider acting on a constructive impulse and following a hunch or taking a risk. Aries learns through experience and action, so we might treat ourselves to a little adventure now. It’s also a good cycle under which to discover the benefits of expressing ourselves with authenticity – expressing ourselves as we are, without putting on airs. We might also find ways to learn how to rely on ourselves and to be happy about doing so – it will go a long way towards finding inner happiness when we know that we can be self-sufficient without blaming others for not helping us out. It’s a time to revitalize ourselves through experiences that break the routine and that involve doing something new and fresh.
“Reality bites with the first hit of the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn – this will be a steep learning curve in edge walking between two great lines of force and moving way beyond your current comfort zone. During this April/May – as the Saturn/Pluto conjunction moves to only 2 degrees of separation – this powerful cycle of Contraction – with a capital C – starts to be felt and experienced at all levels – individually and collectively, emotionally, psychologically, materially and physically. This month Saturn is at 20 degrees Capricorn with Pluto conjunct the South Node of Fate at 23 degrees.
This is a time of pure karma and pure possibility as the old, the atrophied and the akashic dross is eliminated, when the Universal Law of Gravity makes itself felt. But first you need the Will and desire to make radical permanent changes instead of tinkering at the edges. An old life is going dark. These are new magnetics and new encodements. Before anything else, your physicality needs grounding as it the vector for your enlightenment – literally “taking in more light”.
There is so much falling away and so much falling into place as we travel through this gateway of transition and new beginnings. Nothing is set in stone.
April is defined by the annual New Moon in Aries on April 5th and the 2nd Full Moon in Libra on the 19th -both trigger the Saturn/Pluto/South Node conjunction. This is going to be a noticeable shift to Cardinal energy which seeks expression, action, change. It is volatile and unpredictable and unrelenting.
This week’s turbulence is going to be like the confluence of two fast flowing rivers meeting, merging and swirling with undercurrents. Mercury conjuncts illusionist Neptune for the 3rd time still in his trickster retrograde shadow as Pluto squares disruptor Eris just before the New Moon at the 15 degree midpoint of Aries.
What to expect?
🌟 A sombre rite of passage
🌟 Hard won lessons in Truth + Radical Honesty
🌟 A psychological, physical and emotional power surge – nuclear fission – that will allow you to move mountains.
This means cleansing, purging, eliminating anything that is preventing you from becoming a clear channel for the new frequencies. It means consciously lightening – and enlightening – your physicality, perhaps by shedding weight, eating live or raw foods, permanently leaving toxic habits behind, getting out into the new photonic light and nature. It’s literally about re-charging your solar batteries.” – Lorna Bevan
1. 15 The Guardian: (Traditional Card: The Devil): Position on the Wheel: The Guardian stands at Samhain at the gateway of the dead. He stands between the elements of Water and Earth and is associated with the waning moon.
The bleached white skeleton of a great cave bear stands sentinel in the night, guarding the entrance to a cave. The guardian spirit of the bear challenges those who would enter the cave of ancestral memory without understanding the nature of their own darkness. Within the cave’s open maw, filled with jagged and sharp stalactites, is an unknown and untrodden path. Its destination is shrouded in gloom. No inner light burns to show a way through. Before the path may be followed, the Guardian must be faced and mastery of one’s own fears achieved.
Over the centuries, there has been much cynical manipulation of the concept of “The Devil” for political, religious, and doctrinal purposes, leading to the demonizing of this complex, nature spirit. Yet the prime role of such an archetype is one of protection and initiation and is the human link to wilderness, nature, and fertility – sometimes manifested as fierceness, ecstasy, and sexuality (The Devil can represent a lusty card). However, the fear engendered by the warping of this archetype will be with us for a long time to come.
The Guardian stirs irrational fears from the muddy bottom of the human consciousness and fills the timid soul with foreboding. He is charged with an inhuman and unseen sentience, feeding off fear and panic with a malevolent joy. But within this sardonic and chaotic energy lies wisdom, courage, and strength. The human survival instinct was geared for fight or flight, yet we have learned to rationalize our darkest fears and deal with unknown dangers with intellectual insight. As we have evolved our understanding of the unknown, we have learned that no diabolical or supernatural force in the universe is as frightening as the human imagination.
If the Guardian is frightening, it is because we are frightened by our own reflection, our own dark shadow, and it is this element of ourselves we must master. Within this process is the stripping away of conditioning and the distilling of absolute essentials within ourselves. Much can be gained by facing our most deepest hidden and suppressed fears, which usually stem from own own deepest instincts and desires. Once this truth has been absorbed and utilized for own defense, the darkest places and the most challenging of forest guardians can be looked in the eye without fear.
Reading Points: A challenge has arrived in your life. The situation may be very complex. It may even have profound implications for your life and how you deal with the world. It may manifest itself in the form of a profound inner realignment or the facing of some physical outer predicament. Whether from the labyrinth that is the human mind or from some external source, the challenge that presents itself now must be seen for what it is; an opportunity. If something has been hidden or repressed, if a situation has been left to decay or become unhealthy, now is the time to take control of your fears and deal with the insecurity with courage and integrity. Always be aware that however threatening or difficult this situation is, you can only become stronger and more resilient from the experience of understanding and accepting inner darkness.
* Venus is in Pisces from March 26-April 20, 2019: Like Aquarius, Pisces love is universal. However, Pisces draws no bounds in love. With Venus in Pisces, we have compassion (and perhaps attraction) for those who are left out, overlooked, or victimized. We are self-sacrificing, and we have a hard time setting up borders. The walls go down, we have a hard time saying no (especially if our compassion is engaged), but we are also prone to avoiding all that makes us feel uncomfortable. Wishful thinking is one expression of Venus in Pisces. We can too easily believe what we want to believe. People can be hard to pin down, and love is hard to define under this influence. Pisces never sees the world in black-and-white terms. Rather, Pisces sees all the colors of the rainbow. With the goddess of love in Pisces, our love is all-embracing, we are able to forgive and understand, we are seducible and seductive, and we show compassion to our partners. Venus in Pisces is tender and affectionate, although hard to reach nevertheless, as there is a longing for something that is hard to define and hard to satisfy. Borders and boundaries blur under Venus in Pisces. The shadow side of this position is allowing ourselves to be victimized or deluded, as well as evasiveness.
2. Six of Stones – Exploitation: (Traditional Card: Six of Pentacles): Selfish or foolish overuse of non-sustainable resources implies imbalance in work or business that is damaging to yourself or the environment.
Other Reading Points: Partnership, in work and other practical areas. Harmony in the workplace, good heath. Charity, but with a mind to what a person can afford. Justice working out in people’s lives. Spirituality in daily life.
This card reflects a state of financial security and generosity, suggesting that you can generously use your wealth and abundance for the benefit of others. But it also speaks to receiving generosity and the feeling of relief that accompanies much-needed assistance. The Six of Pentacles is a card of giving and receiving. Sometimes, you are on the giving end; other times, you are on the receiving end. It’s an ongoing cycle of life, and this card serves as a reminder that the balance can change at any time. Even if you are surrounded by wealth, there will be times when you need the help and support of others, so be generous with your resources, as you may need the support in the future.
The human race’s capacity to exploit planetary resources to our own detriment is motivated by a flawed belief that we have the right to do so. As we begin to come to terms with the profound effects of global climate change and the irreversible effects this will have on our children’s lives, the human race still struggles to deal with the unresolved issues of how to feed the billions of new human beings born each year. How we will resource the education, health and social requirements of entire generations to come seems like a question too painful to think about. With world financial systems and safeguards breaking down, and faith in any government’s ability to tell the truth and act with integrity severely damaged, our social moral codes and once familiar cultural ‘norms’ appear under enormous strain. We all need to be aware of the price our children will pay for our exploitation of the planet’s resources.
3. Six of Vessels – Reunion: (Traditional Card: Six of Cups): There may be affection and love in a situation that could take time to resole. Recognition of ancestral and reincarnation memory. Polaric love between soul mates.
An emotional reunion can sometimes refer to the mystical Karmic cycles that bring lovers back through time, space, and lifetimes. The purpose of this ‘soul reunion’ may be manifold but it can be to complete unfinished business or to teach new lessons from old actions or wrong choices. It can also refer to the coming together of a band of comrades, tribal or clan members, or a brotherhood/sisterhood of loyal friends, gathering for the acknowledgment of their shared bond. It may also refer to the reunion of the individual with their own true nature, in terms of forgotten or rejected history or experience. By meditating on a past issue with new wisdom and insight and an acceptance of personal responsibility and forgiveness, reclamation may take place. A spiritual re-amalgamation of a facet of the individual’s personality, for the purpose of clearing and self-empowerment, may be possible, and a healthy union in the soul the result. Reassurance is gained from a reunion of this nature, revealing whether the correct path was taken and your decisions were based on valid and honest instincts and motivations.
4. 8 The Stag: (Traditional Card: Strength)
Position on the Wheel: The Stag shares Spring Equinox (March 21st) with the Archer. He is associated with sunrise and the element of Air. This is the position of universal lore, where the energy of creative life enlivens the soul.
The concepts of forgiveness and reward are not appropriate here. They are human ideas which have no reality in natural lore. One reaps what one has sown. Just as right or generous action brings fulfillment and peace, greed and vengeful desire bring bitter loneliness and disillusion. Balance will be maintained by the planet’s ecosystem. The justice it dispenses is long lasting, and it is a both merciful and irrevocable in its final conclusions.
We are guests of the Earth, not its masters. And, like ill-mannered children at a banquet offered freely by a generous and forgiving host, we have behaved badly and are in danger of spoiling the gathering for everyone else. Our thoughtless greed and selfishness have seriously disturbed the ecosystem. The fine balance and interdependent connection between nature and humans is pivotal; if the balance is disturbed by any inappropriate or thoughtless action there will surely be a natural reaction and the balance will have to be reset.
Reading Points: Strength, courage, persuasion, influence, compassion
5. Five of Bows – Empowerment: (Traditional Card: Five of Wands): Four unfletched bow staves lie like offerings before the mighty figure of the Cerne Abbas Giant who holds a fifth in his hand. An ancient emblem of fertility, he has long been seen as an opener of the ways.
By facing and defeating our greatest fears, we empower ourselves and grow more resilient and effective against adversity. This leads to the individual’s belief that they are no longer simply powerless. The empowered individual ultimately has the capacity to influence and affect the outcome of events and change perceptions.
The mastery of any skill or discipline enables empowerment for clear and decisive mental processes, and the arrows of one’s desires and wishes can be loosed at destiny with positive effect. The time of self-empowerment by seizing the initiative is here. By channeling primal, fertile and protective energies, the individual can evolve a grounded and assertive mindset and utilize this for effective growth and change. This is true, not only for the individual, but also for society. It is the meaning of achieving one’s destiny as a matter of choice, not chance. The act of observing the particle changes the particle and this raw, dynamic life force can be focused and deployed to influence situations in the practical world. Empowerment enables the individual to overcome negative self-images or destructive emotional addictions and increases confidence by overcoming stigma or social handicaps. Empowerment is the key to the attainment of one’s destiny and the feeling of spiritual fulfillment through a proactive and positive attitude to life.
Reading Points: Excitement, competition, glimpsing life’s fiery and infinite possibilities, change
