18 Aug Wisdom of the (s)Ages
Today, someone private messaged me with a question that felt too important to not answer in a public forum – lest I have given the wrong impression.
Q. Why are you going through the history of the Bible? Are you wanting to prove it isn’t true? Do you not believe in God? Because you talk about Great Spirit which I assume is God but I am confused by the work your doing.
A. First, I deeply apologize if that is the perception I have given. I know my practices are not conventional. I absolutely believe in God. I believe in Spirit. And I believe in living a life filled with the Holy Spirit. I live my life being directed by Spirit. I completely believe in a Higher Power and a Greater Intelligence. I believe in Great Spirit – Creator. And I use those words interchangeably.
What I don’t believe in is ignorance by choice. I refuse to be hand fed lies and claim this as truth. I believe in dismantling and deconstructing.
I believe the Bible is filled with wisdom. I get very excited when Spirit Meets Science and East meets West. What this ultimately means is that I choose Faith – which is unbreakable, unshakable, and unstoppable. I believe when the Bible says in Revelations 3:16 (kjv): “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.” I am not lukewarm in my beliefs because I’ve torn them to shreds. However, my Faith has been built on my own Faith with and in God – not the words and dogma of a church that doesn’t tell the whole truth nor the whole story and continues to perpetuate the lies that came with power, corruption, and agenda.
The reason I am doing The Metaphysical Bible Study is because I want others to question what they believe and why they believe as they do, so they too, may carry the wisdom of the ages within their heart.
