07 Aug Your Truth
Destiny was born the day you took your first breath. The seal that bound the book that was to become your life broke wide open as the windswept pages landed on Day 1. Crisp binding crackled & popped as thick pages gilded in gold turned & turned as you orbited the sun by day; dancing by the moon at night.
Three parts to this play but acting would never be your forte, nay. You are a novel – born to get naked and sling black ink on pages of white writing your journey as it unfolds so that they, too, may follow your lead – resuscitating that which remains unwritten in a holocaust of dreams now dead and ghosted by time.
Redemption can only be found in the words etched upon your heart:
Your truth
Your truth
Your truth
No matter where you’ve been or where you are – no one can take that from you – that is your salvation & grace for there is nothing more sacred than the words whispered, nay, sung in Joy and elation, from the depths of your soul. And this song – the song of your heart’s truest & highest self – as the keys are played and notes well sung – she will reveal herself and you shall name her Hope. And you will nurture her, bury her, and then gnaw and claw at the dirt time and time again until she has become immortal in breath & depth & soul and then you shall call her Life – Eternal & Everlasting.

Posted at 00:08h, 08 AugustWow, Mary, is this just for me? Seems like it…seems like you channeled me. Except that I was an actor, performer, singer and writer. Your words are so incredible. The melody, and contrasting imagery is so potent, I have to catch my breath. I love it when words do that to me. I know poetry when I see it, feel it, breathe it in. I know it when it makes my heart pound and I’m afraid to read it again because it is so rich, it will take time. I love the clawing at the earth to get at hope. I’m there right now, clawing away. Keep on, girl, soul sister, keep on. Love, Maeve

Posted at 21:50h, 08 AugustThank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I think we all experience this many times in our lives and it’s important to remember that it’s ok wherever we are on our journey and to always keep hope alive in our hearts.
